Paul spent 10 years at the BBC as an award winning producer/director. He has produced at multiple Olympic Games and Football World Cups. Beyond live outside broadcasts, Paul was a producer with the BBC Specialist Factual Unit in Bristol working on award winning documentary series such as ‘The Fight’, ‘World Cup Stories’ and ‘Tommy Simpson: Death on a Mountain’.
As a freelancer he has won international advertising awards for blue chip clients such as Audi and has received many RTS nominations for his long form documentaries. For his films, he has interviewed a plethora of sporting greats from Zinedine Zidane, Evander Holyfield, Haile Gebrselassie and Viv Richards, to name a few.
He is known for his storytelling ability and visual flair and has experience of working with all camera formats from 16mm film right through to high end cinema cameras on both single and multi camera shoots.
Paul is currently directing a documentary film for cinema release on 40 years of The Great North Run.
